About the Assembly
The New Juaben South Municipal Assembly was created by Legislative Instrument 2301 in 2017 when the northern portion was carved out to form the New Juaben North Municipal Assembly.

New Juaben South Municipal Assembly has elected Hon. Nana Yaw Debrah as the new Presiding Member (PM) for the Assembly after inaugurating fifty Assembly Members on Monday, February 12, 2024. The election process recorded five (5) Assembly Members picking nomination forms to compete for the Presiding Member position.
