OVER 3,239 CANDIDATES WRITE SHS EXAM

Over Three thousand two hundred and thirty nine (3,239) final year Senior High students within the New Juaben south Municipality are taking part in the 2022 ongoing exams.

The candidates made-up of One thousand five hundred and thirteen (1,513) females and One thousand seven hundred twenty-four (1,724) males are drawn from Oti Boateng, Pentecost, Koforidua Secondary-Technical and New Juaben Senior High schools respectively.

This came to light when the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Isaac Appaw-Gyasi and his entourage from the Municipal Education Directorate paid a visit to the various examination centers to wish the candidates the best of luck in their exams.

Encouraging the candidates, the MCE said the country is not ready to waste it resources but rather will do everything possible to invest in the future leaders of the country. “That is why the government, led by His Excellency, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is paying more attention to the education of this country, and he wants you to pass and pass well since you are the next generation of this country” he explained.

RHon. Isaac Appaw-Gyasi in the early hours of half passed seven (7:30am) advised the candidates to concentrate on their exams and eschew the habit of exams malpractice. “There are more glooming opportunities that awaits you, read the questions well, understand them before you answer” he indicated.
